'Inspire the next generation'

Whether it is individual coaching or team / club coaching I can help.  I am a Grade 3 Advanced Coach.

I have coached many sports and have specialised in Wheelchair Basketball since 1997.  I am Head Coach at Cheshire Phoenix Wheelchair Basketball Club and I was the Wales U19 Coach for the Junior Championships and School Games in 2016 and 2017 and the assistant coach in 2018 and 2019.

As a Coach Tutor for British Wheelchair Basketball I can deliver Young Activators, Leaders, Grade 1 and Grade 2 Coaching Courses.  I am happy to come to your club or arrange for you to come to our club for a course. If you are keen to become a Coach or develop your skills just let me know and we can book a date.

If you are already a qualified coach and want some Mentoring I am happy to come and work with you and help you identify ways you can grow your coaching skills.

Testimonials:

"AJ is an incredible coach. They do not distinguish between young and old, talented and those of us who are a little less than talented, we are all part of the team."

"AJ is an amazing tutor for British Wheelchair Basketball, inspiring young disabled people to have the confidence to go into coaching and officiating. They have a way of communicating with young people so that they connect with absolutely everyone in the room. Always happy to help and gives up hours and hours to developing the sport and the people in it "
