I am really honoured to be able to announce that I have been awarded the Prime Minister's Points of Light Award for May 30th for my services to Wheelchair Basketball.
Its great to be recognised for the work I do and I am so grateful to all the people who have helped me on my journey so far.
“I am really honoured to win the Points of Light award and to be recognised by the Prime Minister for all the volunteering I do. I love being involved in Wheelchair Basketball and it has changed my life since I got involved in 1997. I love making a difference to the players, coaches and volunteers I work with and am looking forward to getting even more people involved in the sport in 2018.”
I will be presented with my Certificate by Chris Matheson our Chester MP tmrw night so will add photos after the presentation
